Memories (Japan, 1995) by Kōji Morimoto, Tensai Okamura, and Katsuhiro Otomo
A collection of 3 sci-fi stories, featuring the gorgeus animation typical of high quality 80s-90s anime films. In the first film, a space rescue crew lands on a myserious abandoned spaceship. In the second film, a man unknowingly becomes a biological weapon, and is then chased down by the country's military in an ever escalating attempt to stop him. The third film follows a day in the life of a schoolboy living in a city perpetually at war, where everyone's lives are centred about keeping the huge cannons working and firing.

Petteflet has a toilet, a kettle & tea bags, and a microwave to warm up food. We are a vegetarian space, so please do not bring any meat or fish.

Unusual Animation film nights are free weekly screenings of relatively obscure animated films.
