Pom Poko (1994) by Isao Takahata
A group of tanukis (racoon dogs) decide to re-learn their ancient shape-shifting skills in order to resist a development project threatening their home. An obscure outlier in Studio Ghibli's catalogue, as it features some violence and sexual jokes.
